The Letterpress Lab

Mission:

The Davidson College Letterpress Lab is a space for student learning, faculty collaboration, and aesthetic production. As an experiential and interdisciplinary venture, the Lab seeks to introduce students to the historical context and contemporary applications of letterpress, especially as it intersects with the liberal arts curriculum. In these pursuits, the Lab actively seeks campus collaborators, including Special Collections and Archives at the George Abernethy Library, the Van/Every Smith Galleries at the Visal Art Center, Davidson Arts and Creative Engagement, and various departments and programs across the college.  To explore possible collaborative options, email Dr. Rippeon.
